Hey Everyone,

I have a 2001 Maytag model MSD2556AE and the defroster is not working. I have checked the adaptive defroster board. It looks ok. I jumped the test to the L1 terminal and nothing happened. Is this supposed to send the machine into the defrost mode automatically and immediately? Any other ideas will be appreciated.

Sounds like you've done a good diagnosis.
