I agree with Fatman: you got a lemon. Have the dealer swap it out.

Yep  I agree too. have it changed over. The fact that the bottom drawer is dead is most likely due to the fuse link on the bottom drawer heater plate having gone open circut. With this model a fault such as this on the bottom drawer will throw up an F1 fault on the top drawer. Don't ask me why but it does.(The tech did tell me once but the reason was quite obscure and academic really.):shock:

The issue is that you should not have to put up with so many problems so early on. In theory there is no problem that can't be fixed but ask any tech and they will tell you some machines are just plain obstinate and no sooner you sort one problem another pops up to bite you in the butt.:yikes:
