 Fisher & Paykel DW 918TD Dishwasher Flood Switch Fault
I do not work on these but have read posts that state you will need to wait for the sensor to completely dry before the unit will get rid of the fault code.  And will have to find the reason for the water leak?

 Ok first up the most common place for these to leak is around the screws that hold the top basket rollers in.. Make sure they are all tight. There are eight of them, if any are missing you will need to replace them.

Once you have done that pull the dishwasher forward far enough that you can lean it back to an angle of about 45 degrees. Put a towel under the back of it then tip it back and the water will run off the tray. Once you have done this the flood switch will reset and you can then test the machine.

 I had the same problem, my washer is single door front loader. One of the top tray bolts was loose and seemed to have stripped the thread a bit. I siliconed the hole after removing the screw then replaced the screw until it was as tight as possible without getting to the stripped bit. However first wash after letting it all dry for 2 days and same fault, flood switch again. I took it all out again and got a torch and looked through the holes on the back to the drip tray. I could see a drip so took off the drip tray and found it was a pinhole in the small hose from the bottom of the bowl to the drain pump. Easy to replace. I just lay the dishwasher on it's side remove 6 screws and two push apart clips. Use the original part or high temperature silicone hose. good luck.

 I had the leaking  DW problem aqnd found that the main supply hose that runs to the top in the "REGENCY VSA " left side as you look at it.. had developed a crack and caused it to leak during the wash cycle...maybe some help:huh:

 It sounds like you have water leaking onto a live circuit and that is tripping the breaker. You will have to inspect your feed hose as DTS suggested then have a look underneath at the lower pump hoses.  Make sure power is off and/or the unit is unplugged before you do anything on it. Hope this helps.

 Put down some towels and tip the machine back about 45 deg. This should reset as the the float is a piece of styrofoam that rises up on top of the water and trips a microswitch. Good luck.
