My KitchenAid Dishwasher KUDP01ILBS3 soap dispenser is buzzing. Is it possible to replace just the solenoid or do I have to replace the entire soap dispenser? Is there a KitchenAid repair manual specific to this model dishwasher?

Dispenser is an assembly .. may be a bad Controller ... either measure the volatge at the Solenoid, or disconnect it and try appling 120v AC to it...

I measured 95 VAC at the solenoid with the solenoid disconnected. This seems low but the voltage is fed from the electronic circuit board through a thyristor. So perhaps this is normal. The solenoid mechanism works fine but buzzes. I applied 120 VAC directly to the disconnected solenoid and it also buzzes. I ordered a new soap dispenser and hope that will fix the problem.

I measured it that way since it was easier, but I realized after I put the front cover back that I should have made the measurement with it connected. I will post back after I check out the new soap dispenser in a few days and let you know if it fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.
