Hi. I have the Jenn-air JCD2389DE. I've taken the ADC board out and replaced the C2. Seemed to work for a while then not. Hammered the relay and defrost kicked in. Got tired of doing this after a while and have just been manually defrosting.

I've read the very useful thread on the subject of this problem here: Replacement of ADC board. I don't want to bother with replacing the relay at this point but prefer just to replace the entire ADC. Have the inherent problems in this board been resolved so that a new board won't result in the same issues? Thanks!

yes, the newer ADC Boards have been re-designed (same part number)

there's also a 3rd party ADC Board maker that also has diagnostic LED on board
