I have a GE side by side fridge Americana A4425GDTAWW, that whenever the water line is turned on and the ice maker is running, it floods the kitchen water pours down from inside the freezer like it doesn't cycle right or something so the water never cuts off. i was wondering if there were any recalls or what i needed to do if a new ice maker is the solution or what and if that could be sent from GE because of a known defect I've read about some similar things on different websites not sure if they pertain to my fridge which was manufactured on 6/12/06 or at least that's what the ice maker says. any info would be greatly appreciated maybe theres some easy fix with a clogged line or something Thanks Seth

Does the leak seem to be originating from inside the freezer door itself or from somewhere else inside the freezer? Can you take a couple pictures and upload them online to a free image hosting service so that we can take a look at them?

seems to be leaking from the top around ice maker it will drop ice but its like it never stops supplying water and just spills out everywhere, I can take the pictures it's just i don't know where to put them and when it leaks it takes a while to start ans before you know it there's an inch of water covering the kitchen floor. If you can tell me where to upload the pics I can do that. thanks Seth
