Have read other posts about this problem. Seems to be the T-stat, located on the back of the unit, that is the problem. Tested aforementioned T-stat= slap a@# open replaced, all seemed well, until oven was put back into self clean mode. Whamm, lights out, door locked. Thought I had this one figured out. Have done this repair before, without having a problem. Enlightenment needed please.

Rule #2) If you're thinking about using Self-Clean, see rule #1. Self-Clean uses nearly 1000F for 3 hours or more. That can wreak havoc on Electronic Controllers and Connections. OR, Oven Insulation may be deteriorated / or friendly mouse

I agree! But, trying to xplain that to homeowners, is like pulling teeth. As far as insulation, that looks pretty good its a fairly new unit.
