 i am a appliance tech from connectiut .where i work we sell and service .i have a maytag refrig i am at a stand still with , model mfi2269vem .about 2 years old . cust had a issue where everything in the refig compartment was freezing customer lost quite a bit of food .we went out and checked it out setting were correct checked the damper make sure wasnt stuck open .factory told us to change the ice make cover door it was a kit because they said it might not being sealing .we changed that and the hv board and refrig thermistor .still same issue test mode wont bring up any faults . ice maker works coorect . i am not sure but wondering if the control board in the front might be putting the refrig in a super cool mode not taking it out of that mode .i spoke to the factory trying to get how the electronics works i do electronics for a living .but they wont tell me where to find it .has anyone run into this issue . i have read on line others have but havent found a fix .any help here would be great thank you again keith

there is a rubber grommet on the wire harness just left of center right in the middle of the ceiling...if that grommet isn't in place you will get freezing issues...have you checked that? They had issues with it. Was the kit that you installed for the perimeter of the ice maker compartment or just the door?
