So now my ice maker is working, and thank you all who helped.. Anyway now thats its making ice I have discovered a leak.. where the hose comes out of the valve up to the ice maker.. I thought it might be clogged so I tried to clean it out.. NOT a good idea.. It this repairable or just replace the whole valve? The white ring (and hose) come out of the valve now and leaks everything the ice tray fills. Im not opposed to bailing wire and duct tape fix, I currently have plummers tape on it SO its either fixed or my house will be flooded when I go home from work today.. any ideas? thanks in adv, grasshoppa fridge fixer guy.

the tubing just pushes into the ports..you will feel a snap when the tube is pushed in all the way. The tubing is locked into place at this point. To release the tubing you simply press that white ring in towards the valve(hold it in) and pull the tube out.
