I have a Tappan double oven that will not heat has worked fine for years but now quit. Oven light comes on and indicator light flickers in between clicks on the selector knob but goes out when in a position (bake preheat broil etc). Occasionally the elements will warm but do not heat up this is affecting both top and bottom ovens can anyone help as to what the problem might be. The only model serial # I can find is M11-1838 23 01129-18192877 this is on a tag inside the door of the top oven Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

first thing to do is check your breaker box and make sure the breaker isn't half tripped. turn it off and on a couple times then try the oven again.

thanks appl.tech  lol easy fix rocked the breakers about a dozen times and we have a working oven perhaps I should replace the breakers on that oven?
