I have an Electrolux refrigerator model E23CS78GPS2. The icemaker and water dispenser are located in the door. The icemaker auger turns constantly and only stops when the door is opened or when the motor over heats. I am thinking the problem is one the boards in the door. Does anybody have any experience with this problem? Thanks

I have a manual on this unit at home, I'll review it and post some info tonight.

The dispenser power control board is bad. Looking at the 4 black relays on the picture below, the last one on the right controls the auger motor (the relay is stuck closed) Dispenser Power Control Board Link ![]() To access the board... Slide drip tray out Remove the 3 screws that were hidden by the tray slide dispenser front up and off Disconnect wire harness Unsnap the light socket remove 6 small screws that are holding the board into place Disconnect wiring from board Reinstall in reverse order

The problem was actually the control board not the power control board. I changed the control board out today and it is working correctly.

Good to know, thanks for letting us know. I haven't seen one of those fail (in that manner) yet.
