Was working fine, press start button Nothing!
Press buttons for diag all panel lights up,then goes thru several sequences, different lights coming on Normal wash, drying etc several combination's as well, then after a few minutes just shuts down.
Looks like & sounds like some water goes into m/c. Also sounds like motor running, I replaced this in 2006. If I open door while its running diag, it will stop(obviously) & restart when door closed. (Figure latch is OK?)
Also disconnected power for10 minutes just in case it might reset something.
Removed drain cover inside tub to make sure nothing was jammed in there.
O great knowledgeable ones what do I do next? no I don't want to buy a new dishwasher!
Thanks David

So can you hear the unit washing before it dies or are you hearing the drain pump?

beer is the overriding concern. Mugs must be cleaned at all costs. We grasshoppers must learn to wash them by hand. Then worry about the appliance.

I believe I can hear the machine washing even if its only for a few minutes, I did throw a couple of pints of hot water in run diag again & definitely sound like it was washing.
Thinking it might be control panel?

sounds like you either have a bad touch pad or control. your tech sheet may have a little key pad test chart on it

Got the tech sheet, but to be honest not sure what I'm looking at!

there is:
Common Cycle time chart
Diagnostics cycle time chart
 user interface switch matrix
Control connector pins
dishwasher circuits
wiring diagram

I think its a little above my understanding, never had much luck trouble shooting electronics.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks

The one your wanting would be the user interface switch matrix...do you have a ohm meter? It should show you the ohm points to check when pressing the start button. Basically your just looking for a closed circuit every time you press the start button. If you read that then your control will most likely be your problem.

Are you missing some numbers on your model number? The older and newer washer motor assemblies both start with this same model number sequence and then diverge. Need the full model number, even if they're zeros.

Hello, my oceanic friend. Perhaps you have heard of the quaint expression, "Garbage in, garbage out." It is especially applicable here. It would be in your best interest to answer the diagnostic questions as completely and clearly as you can. Otherwise, I'm afraid the Masters will simply move on to other, more worthy seekers of appliantological wisdom.

Sorry if my wordage is not clear. As a person of limited appliantology experience, I do not understand the diagnostics sequence.
I will again try the diag, and make a note of what sequence the m/c runs if this will help.

Dang that Moostafa is pickin up on some american expressions! - I've heard someone else on here say that very same thing numerous times. Maybe the Samurai can remember who normally says that.

Ver goot! One more clarification: in regular run mode, when you start it up, do you hear any noise (listen carefully, ear against the door) or see any lights on the control panel?
