Greetings I have a Kenmore dishwasher Model # 665.16932000 other numbers on the tag in the door include FL2605580 and 16932. Unfortunately Sears did not put a schematic on this unit. It has an electronic control panel. My dishes are not getting cleaned properly or dried. The heating element either not coming on or is defective. They also buried the wires all the way in the rear of the unit. I am in need of schematic assistance. I have a digital multimeter but I'm not sure of what gets turned on when. Any assistance would be appreciated. thanks Scott

I thank you for the schematic. I have come to the conclusion that the heating element is at fault. I put my test leads on the orange and the white wires and measured for continuity. There is none. So I guess I need an element.

This not only comes with the element but a new control board. Has the control board been an issue or is it because the element is different? Also, will I have all the functions I had previously? I have a stainless tub.

I have seen something pertaining to this issue, let me see if I can find it, I believe it will act different, seems the new control board will cycle the element due to the wattage of the element, I will get back to you on this issue.

This is the Service Pointer I was thinking of for the KitchenAid Tall tub units, not sure if it pertains to your unit or not., since this was for the KA units, but they are also made by Whirlpool as was yours also.
