I took apart the supply vavle because of sand.  Cleaned it out worked well till I left the room to find water leaking out the full dishwasher after cleaning.

My question would be in that small metal rod that interacts with the solenoid.  I am not sure I put the black end in first into the "flat topped mushroom plastic piece with a spring in it" properly.  Cannot find a manual that show if the black end goes in first or not.  I have to shut the water off after running the DW as it has already warped and cracked my edgwood laminate flooring.  HELP!!!

Thank you so much honorable Samurai

model number ?

I don't think you'll find a diagram for the Water Valve.

Just replace the Valve, what's your floor worth ?

Nope your right I couldn't find the magnetic bar in the schematic  They only had the entire assembly.  I just bought the entire valve/solenoid for $25.  I only want to go under there once more !   At this point whats the floor worth?  priceless once i figure out how to repair it without wiping out a few more sections.  I took pics of every other part of the operation, none of that darn little bar. :)

Thanks for your input RegUS
