so with the wires going to the tilt switch disconnect from the motor switch you showed continuity with both the door opend and closed? if so the tilt switch is bad. the tech sheet led me to believe it was an on / off type switch..doesnt matter though. those motor switch leads are normally closed as well..may need to pull the cover off the switch and see if the contacts are welded together.

Took the motor switch apart. I dont know what to look for as far as "contacts being welded" but the lead that the BR wires are attached to is definitely charred (black)inside the switch.

The copper contacts should not be stuck together, you should be able to seperate them...if they are stuck together you maybe able to carefully pop them apart and clean then with some emery cloth or a small file...try not to bend them.
