here's the story:

made cookies one day - oven worked fine.  went to make more two days later - oven never heated up.  Now, the clock had been dim on one side, and after doing my research here - I opted for what seemed to be the cure - I replaced the ERC and the thermostat inside the oven.   did it work?  no - I got constant beeping and fan blowing, and certain touch pad keys were no longer working.

so I did the samurai recommended test - pulled the ribbon connector - restored power and waited while having a nice cold beer.  no more beeping.  so, per the test outcome - I ordered a new touch pad.

got the touch pad last night and installed - all buttons working, no constant beeping, oven light turns off.   BUT still no oven heating.   I get the constant preheat cycle and nothing else.  pulled the oven out - all connectors to the relay panel seem to be fine.

what are my next steps?  I'm desparate - thanksgiving is next week and the screams for pumpkin pie are driving me to drink more (than usual).

It's a sure bet you need the power relay board. It's the bigger one in back of the range. I have a pictorial odyssey of replacing this board here.

alright, apparently, i've had one too many beers while comforting myself due to a lack of fresh baked cookies....and I've listed the wrong Jenn-Air model .. mine does not do convection - but is instead just a conventional (that'll teach me to trust the care manual!).

thank goodness the ERC unit is the same for both models!  and I apparently caught a price break by getting the touch sensor (I just have two useless buttons - but that's normal for me!)

is the proper relay board now item 400656?

As long as they were good beers, it's excusable. :gulp:

What's your correct (and complete) model number?
