Hello once again!

Okay, our ice maker has been making a stalagmite in the ice cube tray for the past few weeks. It doesn't grow real fast, but nonetheless is there.

What should I be looking for as the source of this problem? I don't seem to see anything real obvious at this point.

If you mean there is a buildup of calcium and other assorted goodies, it comes from the water,not the icemaker

DO YOU HAVE ICE-CYCLES HANGING DOWN ? #1: its a bad water valve , letting extra water in and over flowing the ice tray replace #2: water is in where the shaft turns and has frozen , now when it harvests, the ice maker turns slowly and keeps water valve on to long , overflowing the tray . cure : take out ice maker and let it dry out for a few days and reinstall #3: you just have a bad ice maker , replace it
