My GE GSS25XGPE BB side by side fridge/freezer is acting strange.....

The water dispenser works - sometimes. Other times it does not dispense water, but if you keep trying, it will sputter, then dispense water.

The fridge, set at the same setting since we bought it in Jan '06, has started to freeze things, mostly near the bottom of the fridge.

The ice in the dispenser melted yesterday, and most of the frozen stuff thawed out overnight.

My basement beer fridge is now full of food and there is no room for beer

. Help!

I should add that I checked the GE recall notice for bad muthaboards, and my model was not on the list, there is a model number that is close (L instead of X) and the date code in the serial number tells me it was made at the time of the recalled units. I bought it at Home Depot in Canada, any chance the model numbers are slightly different in Canada and mine is recalled??
