OK, oh great appliance gurus, I have a new problem.

Irrelevant background info:
While my wife was out of town, I bought her a beautiful new Samsung dishwasher.  Top of the line, very slick, with eerily glowing blue displays.  When I put it in, it looked solid as a rock.  The insides were well laid out, and the controls spiffy.  But it didn't clean dishes very well, even after running THREE HOURS per cycle.

Eventually we gave up, took it back, and got a special order Bosch for over 400 bucks more, model SHE68P05UC.  As I was installing it, I was surprised at how cheap the guts looked.   (There's a stereotype that German engineers aren't happy until they can turn the simplest function into a Rube Goldberg nightmare.)  There was a rocker arm that pivoted in a piece of styrofoam, and little plastic doodads hanging out all over the place.  The tines inside weren't as adjustable as the Samsung ones, and the baskets looked flimsy as heck.  And the baseplate appeared to be designed a junior demon from engineering hell, and took this experienced handyman an hour to install because of brutally idiotic design, which I finally defeated by wrapping the mounting screws in tissue paper so they would align with the invisible holes inside.  I was furious with Bosch when I finally got this thing working.  And after all that effort, the Bosch is actually louder than the Samsung.

But you know what?  It cleans dishes like wow!  I think it's just that the water is hotter and water pressure is higher.

OK, ENOUGH NOISE.  HERE'S THE PROBLEM:

So da wife complains about the beeping at completion of cycle.  I read the manual, and INCORRECTLY follow the instructions to kill the beep.  Instead of hold the RIGHT "cancel/reset" button down while turning the unit on, I held them BOTH down.  The device entered some diagnostic mode.  Not realizing this, I pushed a lot of buttons trying to follow the instructions.  Now the dishwasher refuses to do anything, and turning off the breaker hasn't helped.

WHAT DO I DO?
