Condensor fan not working. Molex connector from board has three wires, Red, Pink, and White. Motor has has 4 wires, Red, Blue, Yellow, and White. Have 13 volts dc on the red and pink wires coming from the board. New motor doesn't work. Are red and pink supposed to have 13vdc on them at same time? Is this possibly a board problem and not a motor problem?

Thanks RegUS. This one is makin' me a little crazy. According to this info the pink wire is actually yellow since it alligns with the yellow(J2-5) wire in the molex from the motor. Like I said, have 13vdc at molex on the red and yellow(pink) wire yet fan doesn't work. I guess I'll try replacing the board. Does the condensor motor take out the board like the evap fan in these models since it appears to be the same motor?? a new board will take care of your problem. the blue wire is unused, its a tachometer that is used when used as an evap motor. For future reference the white wire is common, the red is constant 13vdc and the yellow is the speed signal from the board. the wire colors change in the harness so i cant tell you which wire colors you will see at the board but the wiring sheet can clear that up for you. In this scenario before i replace the board, i rob power by jumping from the speed signal wire for the evap motor at the board. This way you can test the fan motor to make sure it isnt shorted before you install and ruin a new board.
