Caused "global warming" and melted all the frozen fish. Works fine on plugging in for awhile then temperature rises. I bought a new DC Plenum Fan Evaporator Motor wr17x10838 Substitution wr17x11124 but wanted to verify that it would help before installation. Or could it be the defrost thermostat wr50x10068. Does it have a variable fan? I thought the fan was bad because it started off slow. Main Control Board? I cant seem to remove the cover to get access to the fan any suggestions? A bit overwhelmed now

Works fine on plugging in for awhile then temperature rises. - How long is "a while" ?? Or could it be the defrost thermostat wr50x10068.- Noy likely since this is a 140F high limit only Does it have a variable fan? I thought the fan was bad because it started off slow. - Yes the evap fan has 3 speeds Since you have the touch pad style control run it through the diagnostics as seen here - thanks to The Sumurai

I did inspect the condenser coils and they looked like this HAND WARMER or should I say MUFF? Lint Completely covered the Cylindrical Coil making it look like a Muff and keeping it a bit too warm. ![]() Maybe that could cause, "global warming." Couldn't get the fridge side display to go to 5 to test fridge. Only the freezer side allowed the display to indicate 5. I didn't have the icemaker or dispensor area were not connected when I tried the test. Last edited on Sun Jun 28th, 2009 09:18 pm by outofink ____________________ pomegranite |

Water dispenser will work then it stops working after a day or two. It has a anti flood hose on the water supply $;$:&$($. I will measure the ohms to test which valve is bad. The main valve double coil seems to be ok and will run water through the valve when the cup switch/lever is pressed. I did not run water through the other valve as of yet.
