We have a GE Oven and Microwave combo that worked fine until just recently. It makes a clicking sound like its going to turn on and then it doesn't. I turn it off, try again and then it went to 245 and stopped getting hotter (it was set at 350) but it didn't seem like it was at 245--it was warm but not hot. Any ideas?

Did you check the voltage and connections on the Oven's Terminal Strip and the house Circuit Breakers ? Did you check the Oven's Thermal Cutout Switch as mentioned in the Service Manual ?

Ok--we tested (my brother-in-law did) and we did find a thermostat that was bad--jumped that--still didn't work. So we jumpered the orange and red lines that go into the L2 (on the main board) and it works. So at this point we don't know if its the main board that's bad--what steps can we take to isolate the problem?

In other words the DLB relay is not passing power for the L2 circuit--there is no thermal cutout at the back of the oven because by jumping the DLB (on the main board in the microwave), the oven works fine. The diagram schematics are not accurate.

I don't see an a DLB Relay nor Orange Wire on the JKP86 Schematic on page 51, but page 33 shows the JKP86 uses a DLB Relay. It dosen't show L2 going to the Board. Do you have the full model number from the Oven ?

The schematic is not correct--it shows a inline thermal switch and actually L2 loops through relay DLB (red and orange wires). We took out the board--see the picture. When we jump the two wires the oven works fine--leads us to believe maybe the problem is in the DLB relay but my brother-in-law in concerned there may be some other issue. So how do we know it is in fact the board that's the problem? Attachment: Circuit Board.jpg (Downloaded 24 times)

Two wires go into TB2 and TB3--you will note the relay is labeled "DLB" -- when we jump those two wires, the oven words. Now if I knew the board was the problem, I could just order it but at $100 or so I don't want to order that unless I am sure that's the problem. My brother-in-law wants to know what controls the DLB relay--doesn't show on the schematic. Attachment: cbcloseup2.jpg (Downloaded 24 times)

There is no other model number I could find on the oven itself. Is there another model number for the oven? I believe the model number inside the MW is for the full combo, isn't it? If not, where is the model number on the oven located?

BTW--the part number for that oven control is WB27T10500. If I was sure that was it, I'd just order it.
