My Whirlpool G2 microwave will do all the functions that you ask it to do through the keypad but any of the extended functions accessed through the touch screen are not accessible. The touch screen will not take any commands. The display is there it just won't accept any of the commands. I cannot get into the diagnostic mode because that is accessed through the touch screen. Is the problem my touch screen or the power control board. The parts are very expensive so I need to know which one to replace. If no one has experienced this problem maybe someone has a service manual for it. Thanks in advance.

I would gamble and order the membrane, The touchpad which will not accept the commands. Ive found a few of these bad in ge and jenn air ovens and they are very expensive....After looking at the prices I would by a new microwave before i would put that in a microwave. YOU CAN BUY A SIMPLE 100WATT microwave for around $200 $250. 8205232white control panel goes for $390.49 and board 8205237 $179.11.

i meant 1000watt microwave.That will do just about anything you want as i have one in my kitchen MOdel MH1160xsq-o oever the range microwave I gave $208.00 with tax.
