Trouble shooting a Whirlpool Microwave KBHC179JSS03...Door Signal On Display.....I changed the micro switches without checking the old ones first....(Dah)....New switchs installed...Still getting DOOR on display.....Am i safe to say the Door controlling portion on the main board is fryed..??...

The Switch wires are connected correctly ? Does the interior Light work ? This may help... KBHC179JSS03 Tech Sheets

I did write down wire order....The light did not work when i started ...Aparently it had burnt out...So i also replaced with a new bulb...Installed switches...Installed bulb...Put back together....Same Thing..DOOR.....I then put 110 to one side of circuit...Display came on pushed start and fan came on but wouldnot turn off after opening the door...??

This one got me too, check out what is in line with the door interlock switch, then check the fuses and the TCO, (Large fuse behind control panel, small fuse in microwave) any of the three will give you that Door error: Attachment: Door_error.jpg (Downloaded 21 times)

Im on to it....I was going over the tech sheet and decided to run it down from l1 thru the fuses...Bling...Bad fuse..250v....No spares on hand will see outcome tomorrow...Thanks

Update ...Purchased new fuse..20A...Checked fuse on microcomputer...ok.......Check Tod ..ok............Light does come on when door opened....Close door can start microwave....once stopped and door opened...Trips breaker....Ive gone thru all the wiring to switches...Have a good circuit from L1 thru primary door switch to light power supply...Any suggestions..?
