Gives 'F3' code. Info sheet does not contain descriptions of codes so intuitively I disconnected the ribbon cable between the touchpad and the main board and turned the breaker back on to see if the code returns. But with the ribbon disconnected I didn't get any display at all the display was dead. so i reconnected the cable and turned is back on and the F3 was gone and proper operation returned. so I wondered if fiddling with a possibly loose ribbon cable cause the 'correction' in the state of the machine. so I left it at that.

A couple weeks went by and the F3 code has returned. Does any one know what it means?
