On my Advantium 220v ( SCA2000BBB) The damper door, The door that covers the interior light during cooking, continually cycles open and closed at all times, when oven is under operation, or idle with door open. I verified that the "Damper door sensing switch" is functional. Everything else works on the unit. Does anyone have knowledge of where on the smart board the sensing takes place? Thanks for any help on this - Stanley

If the damper door sensing switch shorts, or opens, the damper motor will continually cycle the damper door open and closed until one complete switch cycle is detected.

Thanks - I checked both switches (CN2 Terminal 1 & 5, CN2 Terminal 3 & 5 on the schematic) while manually moving the damper door, and opening and closing the oven door, and both checked out. Based on your comments and my findings, I am thinking that I have smart board problem. I also verified that the Hood TCO that is part of that circuitis functioning ( easy, because it is normally open). Thanks for the input, Stanley

With the Microwave unplugged. you could check to see if the relay contacts are shorted. RY10 (relay common is neutral)
