The ice/water dispensor light stays on, and I can't shut it off at the control button on the front.  Also, nothing happens when I push the dispensor pad switch, when it is set for ice or water.
I checked the dispensor micro switch and it has continuity.  Also I checked the door switch on the freezer. This also had cont. across red and r/b when the door switch was depressed.  There was cont. across red and grey when the switch was not depressed, whitch I figure is for the freezer light.  It seems like the freezer door switch is fine.
The unit is set up so it will not dispense water (because of the filter that is in the fridge side) if the fridge dooor is open, but it did dispense ice.  Now nothing is dispensing so I did not think it would be the fridge door switch.  I am not sure what to check next.

It sounds like your board is bad.  Can you change from cube to crushed and water or is it appear to be locked up?  If you pull a wire off the switch, does the light still stay on?  If we determine your board is bad, you will want to ohm out the components it controls to make sure it did not blow because of them.  The can all be checked from the harness that plugs on to the board.  The readings you should get are listed below if you have an ohm meter.  You are looking for dead shorts (continuity) if one is bad.

Auger motor 2.5 ohms - Pink to White

Cube solenoid located by the auger motor 40 ohms- Purple to White

Flapper solenoid 40 ohms. - Brown to Red/Black on the switch.

:) hey thanks trying to help.  Good idea about  checking the light when the switch was unplugged.  As it turns out I went to check the switch and the dispensor was working as it should.  There may still be a bad connection on the board or still a bad (intermittent problem) with the switch, but it is working now.  I put everything back together and it is working fine.
