I have a Roper RT18AKXKQ05 with a bad freezer door gasket. The freezer cools OK but everything in it looks like one of those ice locked Antarctic explorer ships.

In any case, the gasket is not secured by and retaining strips or screws. It appears it just gets slipped (stuffed?) between the door shelf and door frame.

Question: What is the best way to do this and have it work the first time. Should I get a bottle of Astroglide?
Thanks,

Ron

Don't use any lube, personal or otherwise. The gasket should just slip right into the groove. The use of lube would make it easier to slip back out, the last thing you'd want when stuffin' gaskets.
