While the burner is operating, the igniter clicks.  This happens only on one burner.  The only thing I can think of is the stove thinks the burner has gone out with the gas on.  Is some thing dirty or blocked?

Yes, something is probably dirty or blocked. Since only ONE of the burners exhibits this phenomia, you can reasonably assume the REIG module is probably NOT at fault.
Go to the troublesome burner, and clean everything around, on or near the electrode (the sparky thingie). Be sure the connections to it are tight and secure. This electrode depends on feeling the tip of a flame to not keep sparking, so you want to look at the flame... Is a flame touching the electrode? If not, you need to find out why. Is the electrode cracked or dirty? Is the chassis frame adjacent to the electrode clean with nice shiny bare metal?

So there you have it. Your work has been cut out for you.

The DF's have individual reig's for each burner. It is entirely possible the one for that burner has failed. Check the obvious first: correct assembly, clean ground path and blocked orefices. I've also seen the metal in the electrode crack so it would light but not sense flame. Easy to take apart and swap parts from burner to burner to pinpoint the trouble.
