Hey there,
Well, I just fixed our Whirlpool Duet washer with help from the other forum. Now it's time to work on our six year old Kenmore Elite dishwasher.
Here's the history - a year or two after we got it, the washer began stalling on minute "70" according to the display. I had a feeling at the time that since this was near the beginning of the cycle it had something to do with the heating element. I later also suspected a clog in the draining system.
I'm running it now (after letting it rest a few years) and it made a loud hum during the early part of the cycle. Now it appears to be stalling on minute "60" and the heating pause light is on.
I assume I should start with a diagnostic test, but I haven't found an explanation in this forum on how to do this yet.
Any tips on how to run the test?

Thanks,
Hugh
