I could probably play with this for hours and guess at it, but seeing as I'm having to replace it after the side brackets (hinges?) were broken, I'm anxious about breaking them again forcing this thing around.

I am also not entirely sure where the spring goes (this must have fallen down the door with the hinge pieces when the handle broke).

I have had no luck finding any sort of repair diagram online. Even a little line diagram showing what is supposed to line up with what would probably be enough.

Anyone have a clue for me?

Thanks...unfortunately that's not really identical to my model and the diagram there (which is showing how to remove the entire assy) is not detailed enough to figure out how to deal with the handle itself.

However...by dry fitting the handle in the panel (after removing the entire thing so I could comfortably play with it), it finally became obvious where the hinge part _had_ to snap in to the actuator assy. With a little pressure it went in with a click and then figuring out where to attach the spring was a process of elimination.

After about a month of having to reach up into handle opening to push on the actuator, I can now open my dishwasher with a handle like normal folks :).
