Oh Great Samurai,
I purchased the sensor that you recommended, installed it, and still the cooling fan runs constantly, even when the oven is off.
I have disconnected the black wire from the main PCB board to the relay board, just to stop the fan.
Suggestions?
thank you,
ed marshall

Are you getting any error codes or is the oven door uncontrollably locked as in the original poster's problem ?
If it's not the Oven Sensor, then it must be the Relay Board.

maybe just a stuck relay if you know how to test / replace them (solder)

Does the unit bake and maintain temp properly? Or can you not program any cook or clean modes without a failure code? If it bakes fine, you could either have a stuck fan relay or an open trace on the touch pad (touch pad closed 5-15, that is why fan runs when TP is disconnected on this unit).
Stuck Relay- Turn off power and access main control board on the back of the unit. You will want to pull the wire off the terminal marked COOL and ohm from the terminal on the board to the L2 terminal on the corner of the board. You should read open, if you read closed, the relay is shorted and you will need a board. Try that before we worry about the TP.

It seems it was a bad relay board, found one locally for $70.
Is it too late to return the oven sensor I purchased from you? I haven't used it yet, meaning the oven has not been turned on with the sensor in it.
thx

A quote from Pegi in numerous other threads.........
"Buy it thru this site at repair clinic, if it does not solve the problem the part can be returned less the shipping charges...what a deal"
