| 2004 GSH25KGPCWW Water in door stopped working after 3 days away from home. The water valve is cycling (coming on when the paddle is pressed). Ice maker works fine (the valve was replaced last fall). The water coil behind the vegtable drawer is not frozen. Any thoughts?

The water line most likely is frozen inside of the freezer door, gonna have to thaw the door or replace it....

| If the line is frozen inside of the door there is a kit out now that has a heater you install that would thaw it and keep it thawed, do not have the part number but could get it if needed also...installs from the outside of the dispenser area...

I understand it installs from the outside of the disp area after parts are removed to access the inside of the door panel, has instructions...
Remove the touch pad, remove 4 screws holding paddle and flapper door, remove housing with flapper door. Heater sticks to recess just below where water line comes thru the door and electric splices to wiring on 6 pin connector with press on connector. thawing will require 24 to 48 hours but will not refreeze.

| Meanwhile turn the temp down in the freezer so the door will thaw in a day or three perhaps...if you can scan or take a photo of the instructions in this kit and upload it this will help all in here who might need to install this kit after you receive it???

Sorry for the long wait. I forgot about the fix once it worked. The part was easy to install and works as designed. It did take about 24 hours to thaw but I think that can be expedited if you leave the light on in the dispenser door. I have not had any more issues since the install which was about a month ago.
Thanks again to Pegi and the forum for advice.
