I am having this same problem, but its not a Filter problem.  I've jsut stepped through diagnostics and found everything in working order.  I'm working on trying to inspect the damper right now, but i've already disconnected the line under the door and verified no water flow while attempting to dispense.  Like the person above my fridge suddenly got colder and slightly froze the top of a pitcher of iced tea so i'm suspecting a control or damper issue and assuming the tank/line in the fridge is frozen.

Any further advice?  Trick to getting the damper assembly out?

Just got the damper assembly out.  My door was broken as well.  Now off to find a reasonable place to order a replacement assembly.

Just got through ordering it for overnight deliver.  Put the assembly back in so the fridge could stay cold, even if too cold.

Thanks

Welcome, just block half of the opening with tape or something till it is replaced.

Order it from the Appliance Parts web site.  I checked all over and they have the part, and it is a great price.  Fast delivery too and money back guarantee.  The picture is upside down to confuse us.  It is also a little different than the old one.  Mine had the damper coming out the front and the new one comes out the side.  Works fine.

I paid for overnight delivery and FedEx failed.  They claim they delivered it but they never even drove by my house.  This isn't the first time this has happened.  Unfortunately FedEx says it can take up to 24 hours for the investigation and RC can't help me in any way until that is complete.  So much for a quick repair.  :(

Part arrived thanks to a neighbor 4 blocks away that received the package by mistake.  Apparently we have a dyslexic FedEx driver as this is not the first time they've made this error.  :X

On opening the box I found that I was missing the optional gasket which applies to my model.  I called repairclinic and they are going to call me tomorrow to arrange shipping the gasket right out, but in the mean-time i used the other parts to improvise a great seal and the fridge is already running like a champ.  Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure about FedEx (nor the other guys), but I thought they had some kind of GPS tracking system that logs the position (address) when then scan and make a delivery.
