I have the dishwasher in diagnostic mode thanks to the forum [diagnostic mode is accessed by pushing keylockand holding it in then push and hold start/pause in that order] but I don't know how to do the tests. Specificaly at the moment I want to test the lid motors as water appears to be coming out of the top right hand side on the top drawer. Is there somewhere I can download the manual in PDF free or paid?

I am particularly enjoying juggling the drawers when removed (4 times to clean up the water from the F1 error) without putting too much stress on the link support and pipes :-)

Thanks

The file is too big for me to post here, I can e-mail it to you or fax it to you.

Check to see if one of the link supports is broken. If they are the white plastic type, it is common for them to break. The broken end gets between the tub and the lid, and this causes the leak.

Thanks for the manual Scottthewolf

nickfixit Yes the link support was broken and I should have mentioned I had removed it for testing purposes. It was broken half way and I am having a bit of trouble seeing that it would reach to stop the lid dropping but I might be wrong because the seal on the lid at the back has an indentation on it. From what I can see it should not cause leaking though. The problem is the right Actuator is not working. I am going to replace the plastic supports on both drawers even though only the top one is broken and the right actuator. Anything else I should do while I am in there?

Thanks everyone.

You get both lid seal actuators in a kit and they require that you replace both of them because they are an improvement from the originals.

You should also replace the link support, replace both while you are at it. The new ones will be a metal rod kit, a nice improvement.

The new lid motors are really nice. They are smoother, quietier, and faster. You may want to do both drawers now, and be done working on this for awhile.

I would be EXTREMELY grateful to you if you would send me the manual also. I'm forever working on our DishDrawer and always having to figure it out myself.

Thanks in advance if you decide to help me out.

Samurai,

Rather than requests would it be possible to have some site we can post our manuals to? I am not sure of the legality or unwanted attention that may bring from manufacturers though.

Just a thought.

Indeed! I use such a site myself: Mediafire. It's free and works great.

I think this would only be a problem if you're selling the manuals. ;)

I am new and can't get the Media Fire site to work.  (No Servers Available message)

If anyone can e-mail the Fisher Paykel Service Manual to me I (and especially my wife) would be very appreciative!

Thanks

Mediafire does not seem to have anything available for DD603 Fisher Paykel Dishwasher.pdf and It claims you can't use it to search for other manuals either.
My email is beton8888@yahoo.com

This is fantastic.. I have just joined and have been reading all the posts.

Also have just used your link to download a service manual 599082.  I have a dd603 and have helped install two others for friends. So now I wont have to try and guess how everyhing works.

As i am in australia i will have to be careful of any possible differences.

Once again this is great!.
